Our Rector Prof. Dr. Erol YAŞAR honored the Faculty of Engineering Academic Board Meeting on March 4.

Within the scope of the meeting, a presentation was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Ayla ÖZER, containing a comparative analysis of the faculty's scientific, academic, and social activities for the years 2024 and 2025. Important data regarding our faculty's academic performance were shared in the presentation, and the work carried out and future goals were discussed.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Erol YAŞAR, drawing attention to the critical importance of academic activities for our university, emphasized the role of the Faculty of Engineering in our institutional success. In his speech, our Rector stated:

"The Faculty of Engineering is one of the locomotive faculties of our university. As Mersin University, we are resolutely progressing toward our goal of becoming a 'Research University,' which we have placed at the center of our vision. In this process, we will continue to provide all kinds of support to all our researchers and will continue to stand by innovation and R&D-focused studies."

The meeting concluded after our Rector answered the opinions, suggestions, and questions of our faculty members through mutual exchange of ideas.
