Mersin University Advanced Technologies Education, Research and Application Center (MEiTAM) has the scientific and technological infrastructure and research laboratories with advanced and technological equipment to carry out multi-disciplinary research activities including R&D, education, testing and analysis of all information across Turkey.

MEiTAM aims to provide technical support for R&D and testing/analysis processes to researchers at Mersin University, as well as other public administrations and the private sector with its professional staff.

MEiTAM has the processes to respond to the characteristics of regional and overseas private sector and entrepreneurs, providing advanced knowledge such as product development, process design and material science; thus, MEiTAM has the potential to diversify and initiate university-industry research.

MEiTAM carries out all its research activities in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards and provides technical support to people and industry in many fields such as food, environment, material sciences, chemistry and chemical technologies, health sciences, cell culture and biology and geology.

Furthermore, MEiTAM's Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Master's Program offers a multidisciplinary research environment for young researchers to develop their skills in a specific field.

MEiTAM aims to be a "Solution Partner" for scientists in Türkiye and abroad by providing infrastructure with suites, study rooms, conference and seminar halls and multidisciplinary research opportunities to serve national and international guest scientists.
