Mersin University Advanced Technology Education, Research and Application Center (MEITAM) has scientific and technological infrastructure with research labs consists of advanced and technological equipments in order to carry out multidisciplinary research activities including R&D, education, testing and analysis by all qualified researchers within Turkey.

MEITAM aims to work for not only researchers in Mersin University but also deliver technical support in R&D and testing/analysis to other public institutions and private sector with experienced personal.

MEITAM has the capacity to respond the requirements of the private sector and entrepreneurs in region and abroad by providing knowledge on advanced topics including product development, process design and material science; by these means, MEITAM has the potential to supervise and initiate university-industry research relationships

MEITAM carries out all research activities by pursuing TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards and provides technical support to researchers and industry towards a wide variety of areas including food, environment, material sciences, chemistry and chemical technologies as well as, health sciences, cell culture & molecular biology and geology.

Moreover, Nanotechnology and Advanced Material master program, running as a part of the MEITAM’s structure, offers multidisciplinary research environment for training young research fellows to gain expertise on a particular subject.

MEITAM aims to be a “Partner for Solution” for the researchers in Turkey and foreign scientists by providing an infrastructure with suit rooms and studying rooms to accommodate national and international visiting scientist, congress and seminar halls, and multi-disciplinary research facilities.
