The aim of the organization is to organize and conduct studies on the protection, rehabilitation, research and education activities of the Caretta caretta and Chelonia mydas sea turtles, which are protected by international and national agreements, especially those found on the breeding beaches of Kazanlı, Alata, Göksu Delta and Anamur in Mersin province and on Davultepe 100th Year Beach; to work on the coordination with other universities and associations that carry out conservation and research activities on sea turtles in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and to produce joint projects by cooperating with domestic and foreign individuals, institutions and organizations.
