Anamur Vocational School
Established in 1995 under Mersin University, Anamur Vocational School continues its educational and instructional activities at the Prof. Dr. Ali Ayhan Campus, which covers a 160-acre area located in the Ören District of Anamur. Our vocational school comprises 9 departments and 12 programs in total. Anamur Vocational School employs 22 academic staff, including 1 Associate Professor, 3 Doctorate-level Lecturers, and 18 Lecturers, as well as 22 administrative staff. The 2023-2024 academic year was completed with 8 active programs and 1,195 students. The school will commence the 2024-2025 academic year with 9 active programs, including the new Private Security and Protection Program, which will admit students for the first time.

At Anamur Vocational School, many of our programs are conducted with a strong focus on practical training. To support this aim, our school houses a 2.5-acre banana greenhouse, a 12-acre avocado orchard, a 2.5-acre citrus orchard, a 6-acre lavender field, a 5-acre olive grove, a 1-acre citrus orchard, a culinary arts practice laboratory (kitchen), two computer laboratories, a food and beverage service practice area, and a guesthouse for practical training, which is one of the projects we are working on to enhance the quality of our education.
In addition to our educational activities, our vocational school places great importance on social, cultural, and sports activities. Various student clubs are actively working towards this goal.

Within our campus, there are dormitories for both male and female students managed by the Credit and Dormitories Institution. Additionally, our school offers canteen, cafeteria, and dining hall services. Furthermore, construction is underway for a university mosque and a university police station on the premises of Anamur Vocational School.
Our school has been awarded the YÖK Barrier-Free University Award in the categories of Physical Accessibility and Access to Socio-Cultural Activities in 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023.
Since 1997, our vocational school has successfully fulfilled the role of OSYM District Exam Coordination.
