Strong Support for Professional Development from Our Faculty: Cosmetics Workshop Event Held

The Cosmetics Workshop Event, implemented in collaboration between our Faculty and the Turkish Pharmacists Association (TEB) 25th Region Mersin Chamber of Pharmacists, was held on Friday, June 19th, in our University's Pharmaceutical Technology Student Laboratory.

The program, a significant reflection of our University's strong relationships with external stakeholders and its commitment to sectoral education, was attended by the President of the TEB 25th Region Mersin Chamber of Pharmacists, Pharmacist Aliye Akgül, and 19 pharmacists.

Practical Training from Our Expert Academics

Within the scope of the Cosmetics Workshop, participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience regarding the formulations and practical preparation stages of cosmetic products. In the event, where theoretical knowledge was supported by practical application in a laboratory setting, current approaches that will contribute to professional development were shared with sector representatives.

The practical training sessions during the workshop were led by our Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. The workshop was given by Necmiye Canacankatan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selda Doğan Çalhan, Research Assistant Dr. Ece Çobanoğlu, Research Assistant Özlem Nekük, and Research Assistant Canan Çulha.

Inter-Institutional Cooperation Strengthened

The event, which contributed to strengthening the cooperation between our university and the 25th Regional Mersin Chamber of Pharmacists, concluded with great interest from the participants. Participants stated that the workshop, hosted by our university to support professional training and increase the sharing of practical knowledge, was very productive.
