WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY AWARENESS EVENT HELD

On May 15, 2026, our Faculty's Social Responsibility and Projects Commission held an awareness event for "World Hypertension Day." The event was attended by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut ÜLGER and Dr. Ş. Efsun ANTMEN, our Faculty Secretary Volkan DARÇIN, faculty members, and students. As part of the event, our students set up a stand at Sayapark Shopping Center, providing information about hypertension and distributing brochures to those interested.

Our students informed visitors to the stand at Sayapark Shopping Center about the types, prevalence, symptoms, risk factors, health problems caused by hypertension, prevention methods, and treatment, and distributed brochures. This event, held as part of "World Hypertension Day," aimed to draw attention to the disease and raise awareness.
