World Obesity Day Event Organized
On March 4, 2026, our Faculty's Social Responsibility and Projects Commission organized an awareness event for "World Obesity Day." The event was attended by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut ÜLGER and Dr. Ş. Efsun ANTMEN, faculty members, our Faculty Secretary Volkan DARÇIN, and students. As part of the event, members of our Faculty's Social Responsibility and Projects Commission and students distributed brochures at our stand in Sayapark Shopping Center, informing individuals about the classification of obesity, risk factors, prevention and control methods, health problems caused by obesity, and its treatment. This event, held as part of "World Obesity Day," aimed to raise awareness about the disease.
