Ministry of National Education Scholarship for Candidates Choosing Teacher Training Programs

According to the announcement made by the Ministry of National Education in the YKS guide, scholarships will be awarded to students who are placed in the teacher training programs determined by the Ministry in their first five (5) choices in the 2026-2027 academic year and who are within the Ministry of National Education scholarship quota allocated for the program they are placed in.

The scholarship will be paid by the General Directorate of Student Loans and Dormitories of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KYK) within the scope of the provisions of Law No. 5102 and the relevant Regulation. Students who are entitled to receive the scholarship will be announced by the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

In order to avoid any loss of rights, students who are entitled to receive the scholarship must follow the scholarship application announcements made by KYK and apply for the scholarship/loan through e-Government within the specified period.

The Ministry of National Education scholarship quotas allocated to teacher training programs are shown in the "MEB" column (Column 7) in Table 4 of the 2026 YKS Preference Guide. The quotas allocated for our faculty programs are given below.
