As Silifke Vocational School, we have achieved another significant success in strengthening our educational infrastructure.

The "Computer Laboratory Infrastructure Strengthening Project," prepared within the scope of the AP5 Type Guided Project supported by the Mersin University Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Unit, has been accepted. This strategic investment, implemented after MEDEK Full Accreditation, will modernize the computer laboratory with 33 new computers and 1 projector, making them available to students.

Thanks to the renewed laboratory infrastructure, students will be able to use up-to-date software and technologies in computer-assisted courses, achieve higher efficiency from practical training, and have the opportunity to improve their digital competencies. Thus, a more qualified educational environment will be created where theoretical knowledge is supported by practical application. Thanks to the strengthened technological infrastructure, instructors will be able to conduct their courses more effectively, efficiently, and application-oriented; and digital transformation in educational processes will be supported more strongly.

The project aims to improve the quality of education, bring the computer lab infrastructure up to date with current technologies, enhance students' digital skills, strengthen practical training, and ensure that graduates are better equipped and more competitive in the labor market.

Prepared based on the critical importance of a strong technological infrastructure in vocational and technical education, the project will enable students to receive training with current technologies used in the sector, thereby increasing their professional competence and employability. It will also make significant contributions to training the qualified human resources needed by the region, the digital transformation process, and local development.

Our Vocational School, which has registered its quality assurance with MEDEK Full Accreditation, will once again demonstrate its commitment to continuous improvement in education with this project, and will resolutely continue its goal of providing our students with a more modern, technological, and application-oriented learning environment.
