Dr. Aysun Kazak Saltı, a faculty member at the Vocational School of Health Services, Mersin University, met with students from Tarsus Technical and Industrial Vocational High School as part of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks program.

During the talk titled "Learning to Live with Epidemic Diseases," Dr. Kazak Saltı provided students with up-to-date, science-based information on the impact of epidemic diseases on public health, modes of transmission, preventive measures, and individual responsibilities. She also answered students' questions throughout the session, emphasizing the importance of promoting accurate health information and enhancing scientific awareness.

Organized within the scope of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks program, which aims to bring scientists and students together, the event contributed to increasing students' interest in science while fostering health literacy. The interactive session attracted considerable interest from the students and provided a productive environment for knowledge sharing.
