The Office Technologies and Data Management Program, offered within the Office Services and Secretarial Department of Mersin University's Vocational School of Social Sciences, held an introductory and informational event for students of the Office Management and Executive Assistantship Department at Çamlıbel Girls' Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to assist prospective students in their higher education selection process.

The event, held on June 2, 2026, was led by the Head of Department, Lecturer Dr. Burcu Pekduyurucu, and department faculty members Lecturers Abdülmecit Mısır and Özlem Erdoğan Or. Melike Kaplan, the 2nd-year student representative of the Office Technologies and Data Management Program, also contributed to the program, while Çamlıbel Girls' Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School teachers Burçak Işın Uysal and Emine Gül also participated.

The program provided comprehensive information to 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students about the educational structure, course content, practical training opportunities, internship processes, transfer opportunities, and post-graduation career prospects of the Office Technologies and Data Management Program. Student representative Melike Kaplan shared her experiences regarding university life and the educational process within the program, providing valuable insights to prospective students.

During the interactive event, students' questions about higher education and career planning were answered. The aim of the introductory activity was to help students shape their professional goals and make informed choices. The event concluded with a discussion of the participants and the sharing of good wishes.
