The “Voice of Nature in My Verses 2” project, conducted under the TÜBİTAK 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program, is attracting attention with its events bringing together science, nature, and literature between May 10-15, 2026. The project was realized with the contributions of 50 participating classroom teachers and Turkish language teachers, as well as a team of 30 experts.

The event, led by Dr. Bekir Yıldız, included special workshops aimed at the professional development of teachers. In this context, the “Poetry Overcomes Every Obstacle” workshop, conducted by Lecturer Dr. Gülcan Boyraz Eser from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center, received significant interest.

The workshop addressed the healing and inclusive power of poetry and art in the educational processes of individuals with special needs; teachers also received periodic training on adaptations and adjustments in the education and teaching process for students with special needs. The trainings focused on accessibility in classroom practices, teaching methods appropriate to individual differences, and inclusive education approaches.
