The Quran Recitation Competition for female students, organized in our faculty under the slogan "A Race to the Quran," was held on Monday, May 18, 2026, in the Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çamsarı Conference Hall. In his welcoming speech, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Abdulvahid Sezen, stated that they believe that beautifully reciting the word of God leads to beautifully understanding it, and beautifully understanding it leads to beautifully living, emphasizing that there are no losers in these competitions. In the competition, where 10 candidates showcased their skills, the selection committee consisted of Dr. Muzaffer İnneci, Preacher Hamide Erdem, and Quran Course instructors Ayşe Özdemir and Menekşe Bağdemir. As a result of the competition, Aysel Ünivar came first, Fatma Mert second, and Fadime Bahar third. Speaking on behalf of the selection committee was our faculty member, Lecturer Dr. [Name]. Muzaffer İnneci stated that the competition increased the interest of faculty students in the Quran and that they discovered new talents in each competition, and thanked all participants. The program ended with the presentation of gifts to all participating students.
