Radiation Awareness Campaigns Continue To Engage Young People.
The second stop in the educational series initiated by our Nuclear Sciences Application and Research Center was Yahya Akel Science High School. With the support of the school principal, Mr. Yusuf ADA, nearly 100 students explored the unknown aspects of radiation. Prof. Dr. Tonguç ÖZDEMİR provided information covering a wide range of topics, from the fundamental principles of radiation to its effects on daily life. Illustrating the subject with examples from historical events, Özdemir answered the students' questions about nuclear technology during a Q&A session, which was met with great interest from the Science High School students.
