On April 2, 2026, final-year students of the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program at Mersin University's Vocational School of Social Sciences, accompanied by Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Pekduyurucu and faculty members Assoc. Prof. Abdülmecit Mısır and Assoc. Prof. Özlem Erdoğan Or, conducted a technical field trip to the Mersin Public Prosecutor's Office Probation Directorate.

The purpose of the visit was to examine the management structure and operational processes of public institutions firsthand. As part of the program, students received comprehensive information about the institution's organizational structure, areas of responsibility, and workflow processes from Ersan Göktaş, the Probation Director of the Mersin Public Prosecutor's Office, and Yılmaz Karakurt, the training supervisor.

During the visit, students toured different units, learning about the functioning of each unit directly from staff members. This allowed students to connect their theoretical knowledge with practical application and make concrete observations about the workings of public institutions.

The technical field trip was considered to have contributed to the reinforcement of students' professional knowledge and skills and increased their awareness of public administration processes. The program concluded as a productive learning process in which students gained valuable experience relevant to practices they may encounter in their professional lives.
