Digital Academic Competence: Capacities And Zotero Webinars Held
A comprehensive webinar aimed at facilitating scientific research processes and enhancing digital competencies for academics was organized by the Learning and Teaching Development Application and Research Center on April 3, 2026. The event covered modern academic work methods and the use of technological tools in detail.
In the first part of the webinar, which was held in two consecutive sessions, Research Assistant İlkim BÜYÜKGÜDÜK ÇETİN gave a training on "Bibliography Writing with Zotero." She explained, with practical examples, how to manage source management and citation processes – one of the most meticulous stages of the academic writing process – accurately and quickly using Zotero software.
In the second part of the program, Research Assistant Rükneddin Halil YAMAÇ introduced the Capacities platform in his presentation titled "Digital Work Ecosystem for Academics." He shared strategies on how Capacities, which goes beyond the classic hierarchical file and folder logic, can make daily work routines more systematic and efficient for academics.
