Professional Image And Body Language Training Conducted

The “Professional Image and Body Language” training, organized in collaboration between the Business Administration Program of Mersin University's Vocational School of Social Sciences and the Career and Academy Community, was held on March 30, 2026, in Classroom 8 of the Vocational School of Social Sciences.


The training was given by Prof. Dr. Mualla Yılmaz. The program provided participants with comprehensive information on effective communication in professional life, the use of body language, first impression management, and corporate image building processes. The role of body language in communication, the meaning of nonverbal messages, and the impact of personal image on professional success were discussed through examples.


Supported by practical explanations and interactive content, the training provided students with the opportunity to express themselves correctly in professional environments, make effective presentations, and improve their communication skills. The program aimed to strengthen students' social and communication competencies that will make a difference in their career paths.


The event was also attended by the Deputy Director of the Vocational School of Social Sciences, Lecturer Dr. Pelin Kılınç Özüölmez. Özüölmez stated that such trainings make significant contributions to the professional and personal development of students, drawing attention to the crucial role of communication skills in professional life.


At the end of the training, students who participated in the program were presented with certified certificates of participation. At the closing ceremony, Career and Academy Community Advisor and Business Administration Program Lecturer Dr. Alaiddin Koşar presented Prof. Dr. Mualla Yılmaz with a certificate of appreciation for her contributions. The event concluded as a productive academic endeavor contributing to the professional development of the students.
