Students from the Tourism and Hotel Management Program at Mersin University's Vocational School of Social Sciences, accompanied by Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Özdamar and Assoc. Prof. Burak Çetinkaya, visited the BN Hotel Thermal & Wellness facility on March 25, 2026, as part of a professional development trip.

During the visit, the hotel's Human Resources Manager, Behiye Gül Ciğerci, and Human Resources staff member, Melike Ceren Akhan, introduced the various service areas of the 249-room facility. Students had the opportunity to examine the villa rooms, the SPA & Wellness unit, the main restaurant and the Italian-themed A la Carte restaurant, as well as the lobby, garden, hobby and play areas, and the aquapark. During the presentation, comprehensive information was provided on innovative practices and differentiation strategies aimed at improving service quality in the hospitality sector.

Following the facility tour, a corporate presentation was given in the meeting room, and students were informed about career opportunities in the sector. In the final part of the program, hotel managers shared their career experiences and offered valuable advice to guide students in their professional development.

The technical field trip enabled students to observe industry practices firsthand and enhance their professional knowledge. Thanks were extended to the BN Hotel Thermal & Wellness staff for their hospitable welcome and the valuable experience they provided.
