Midterm exams will be conducted according to the established rules. All students taking the exams are required to bring their student ID cards (students who have not received their student ID cards must obtain a student certificate from the student affairs office) and current photo identification documents (National Identity Card/Turkish Republic Identity Card/Driver's License). It is strongly requested that you be present at the exam location at least 10 minutes before the exam start time.

Students who cannot attend the midterm exams due to a valid excuse must apply to the relevant Department Head within five (5) business days of the end of their excuse, along with documents stating their excuse. Students whose excuses are accepted may take the make-up exam. Make-up exams will be held between May 18, 2026 and May 22, 2026.

According to Article 32-(6) of the Mersin University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations; the principles regarding make-up exams are as follows:

a) Excuses are accepted for midterm exams, but not for end-of-semester and make-up exams. For students in distance learning programs who did not/could not attend midterm and end-of-semester exams, no excuses are accepted.
b) Excuses are not accepted for additional exams such as single-course and maximum education/training exams. c) Students who are unable to attend exams because they are assigned to represent the University or our country may take make-up exams for all the exams they missed. The date of the make-up exams for these students will be determined by the relevant unit's board of directors. d) Exams taken by students during their excused period will be considered invalid.
d) Students who are unable to attend make-up exams will not be given a second chance to take a make-up exam. e) Applications regarding excuses must be submitted in writing to the relevant sub-unit within five business days of the end of the excuse period. Applications submitted outside this period are invalid.
