“harmful Effects Of Smoking On Health” Panel Was Held
A panel titled “Harmful Effects of Smoking on Health” was held on March 11, 2026, at the Central Conference Hall of our Faculty.
The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Oya Ögenler and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selda Okuyaz from the Department of Medical History and Ethics, Faculty of Medicine.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Derici Eker from the Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Yusuf Sürmeli, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, participated as speakers.
During the event, the effects of smoking and electronic cigarettes on health, as well as the genetic-level consequences of smoking exposure, were discussed, and valuable information was shared with the participants.
