Our Nuclear Sciences Application and Research Center met with students from Eyüp Aygar Science High School in the first stop of its educational series aimed at raising awareness about radiation in society. The event, hosted by the school principal, Mr. Ahmet OMAÇ, was attended by approximately 120 students, mainly from the 9th and 10th grades. Our Center's Board Member, Prof. Dr. Kasım KURT, provided students with comprehensive information about the nature of radiation, its place in daily life, and basic protection principles. Dr. Şenel ÇOBANER also explained the center's activities, sharing the importance and technical specifications of the RADISA device, which plays a critical role in radiation measurement processes. The science high school students, who are future scientists, gained awareness in the field of nuclear sciences by asking our experts questions they were curious about.
