A comprehensive information session was held for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy as part of the training program organized by our University's Nuclear Sciences Application and Research Center. The training, held on February 13, 2026, in the Advanced Technology Education Application and Research Center (MEİTAM) conference hall, covered the following main topics:  Fundamentals of Radiation: Dr. Fatma SÖĞÜT, Assistant Professor, gave a detailed presentation on the physical properties and types of radiation. The training focused particularly on the biological effects of radiation on living tissues and radiation protection strategies in pharmaceutical practice.  Technical Equipment and Application: Dr. Şenel ÇOBANER introduced the Radisa device located within the Nuclear Sciences Application and Research Center and explained its technical specifications.  In the final part of the training, students were given a practical demonstration by monitoring real-time radiation values ​​in and around MEİTAM.
