Within the scope of the eTwinning ITE (Initial Teacher Education) studies conducted under the auspices of the Faculty of Education at Mersin University, the "Project Writing Training" workshop of the project titled "First Steps into ESEP and eTwinning: A Mentorship-Based Project Development Programme for Student Teachers," led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit İzgi Onbaşılı, was successfully completed with the participation of mentor teachers.

The workshop, held on February 16, 2026, involved a project writing and development workshop for our faculty students participating in the project, conducted by Bircan Keleş, eTwinning Project Coordinator of the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies (YEĞİTEK), and eTwinning Content Development Team Members Aysun Çete, Yeşim Gülburnu, Neslihan Uçaroğlu, Gonca Bahar, and Kenan Çete.

Our faculty students, working in teams and developing collaborative projects, gained experience in eTwinning project writing while still in their undergraduate studies.

At the end of the workshop, the Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nejla Gürefe thanked the mentor teachers for their contributions and presented them with certificates.
