The Mersin Provincial Police Department and Mersin University Technical Sciences Vocational School are joining forces against elements that threaten the safety of young people. A conference titled "Combating Terrorism and Awareness" will be held to raise social awareness among university students. The event, which aims to create a shield against recruitment strategies targeting university-aged youth, will address the dark side of terrorism, traps set in the cyber environment, and propaganda methods carried out through social circles in detail. Coordinated by the Mersin Provincial Police Department, the conference will feature experts in the field and will explain the psychological and digital methods used by terrorist organizations to ensnare young people, with current examples. Important information will be shared on how students should stand against these insidious methods and how they can protect their personal safety. All our staff and students are invited.
