Technical Visit to Nokta Logistics Company by Students from Our Vocational School's Logistics Program

Students from our University's Social Sciences Vocational School's Logistics Program conducted a technical visit to Nokta Logistics company to enhance their professional practical experience. The event was coordinated academically by Lecturers Erdem Daşcı and Dr. Gül Ferhande Canpolat.

As part of the visit, first-year Logistics Program students had the opportunity to observe the operational processes carried out in the company's warehouses, storage facilities, and terminals within the framework of their "Warehousing and Inventory Management" course. Students were able to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical experience by observing the application processes of logistics activities such as warehousing, cargo acceptance, inventory tracking, shipment planning, and operations management in the field.

Lecturer Erdem Daşcı, the course instructor, stated that technical visits make significant contributions to students' professional development, noting that students who have direct contact with the sector start their careers better equipped after graduation, thus increasing their employment opportunities.

It was stated that the technical field trip contributed to increasing the students' professional awareness by allowing them to observe practices in the logistics sector firsthand.
