World Dıabetes Day Awareness Event Was Held
WORLD DIABETES DAY AWARENESS EVENT WAS HELD
The Social Responsibility and Projects Commission of our Faculty has organized an awareness event on 20th November 2025, “World Diabetes Day”. The Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Deans of the Faculty Assoc. Prof. Mahmut ÜLGER and Asist. Prof. Efsun ANTMEN, Faculty members, Faculty Secretary Volkan DARÇIN and students attended the event. Our Faculty students set up a stand at Sayapark Shopping Centre and informed individuals seeking information about diabetes.
Our Faculty students informed individuals visiting our stand at Sayapark Shopping Centre about diabetes risk factors, symptoms, types, living with diabetes and its treatment, and distributed brochures. In addition, demonstrative explanations were provided regarding insulin injection application and blood sugar measurement at home. The event highlighted the disease and raised awareness on World Diabetes Day.
