On 01 December 2025, the Scientific Journals Coordination Office of Mersin University held a comprehensive information meeting in the Social Sciences Institute Meeting Hall regarding the TR Dizin application and evaluation process for the Institute’s academic journal.

Dr. Semra Akıncı Saçaralp, Vice Director of the Institute

The meeting featured a detailed presentation by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Orhan, Coordinator of Scientific Journals. The presentation covered TR Dizin application requirements, monitoring criteria, regular publication expectations, publication ethics, management of editorial workflows, and essential steps for compliance with national indexing standards.

Additionally, recommendations were provided on enhancing the journal’s national visibility, improving publication quality, and strengthening a sustainable editorial structure. The session concluded with a constructive exchange of ideas and the development of a common roadmap between the Institute administration and the editorial team.
