On 04 December 2025, the Scientific Journals Coordination Office of Mersin University organized a comprehensive information meeting for the editors and associate editors of the scientific journals published within the university. The meeting took place in the Meeting Hall of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences.

The following journals participated:

• Mediterranean Journal of Engineering and Scientific Research 
• Kilikya Journal of Philosophy
• Cultural Heritage and Science
• Journal of Cultural Heritage Studies

During the meeting, key topics related to national and international academic publishing standards were discussed, including:

• DergiPark management processes
• TR Dizin evaluation criteria
• Editorial and peer-review procedures
• Publication ethics
• Indexing application processes

Presentations were delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Orhan, Coordinator of Scientific Journals, and Dr. Abdurahman Yasin Yiğit, Assistant Coordinator.

The meeting ended with a Q&A session and the presentation of a roadmap aimed at supporting transparent and sustainable editorial workflows.
