A Training Seminar Titled One Picture, A Thousand Words Using News Photography İn The Press Was Held.

The training seminar, titled "One Frame, a Thousand Words: Using News Photography in the Press," organized by the Adana Regional Directorate of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey's Directorate of Communications, was held at the Çukurova Development Agency.

The training, delivered by Dr. Hacı Mehmet Acar, a lecturer at our university's School of Social Sciences, emphasized the importance of using photography in news. Participants gained knowledge and awareness of the technical and ethical dimensions of using photography, which enhances the impact of a news story. Throughout the training, critical topics in news photography were discussed, including the fundamental principles of photography, compositional rules, artistic and aesthetic approaches, and ethical responsibilities in visual journalism.

The program was attended by press, public relations, and communications personnel, as well as members of the press, from public institutions and organizations operating in Adana.

The training, which provided significant insights into more effectively utilizing the power of photography in news production, concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants.
