The LÖSEV Volunteering and Awareness Seminar was held by the Department of Social Work and Counseling of the Vocational School of Social Sciences with the participation of 1st and 2nd year students.

The event, organized by Lecturer Dr. Mehmet Enes Salkın, was attended by Şule Artam, a staff member of the LÖSEV Adana Public Relations Benefit Project, as a speaker. Artam explained LÖSEV's work in combating childhood cancers, the importance of volunteering in social solidarity, and how university students can contribute to these processes. During the seminar, students gained comprehensive information on volunteering awareness, the functioning of civil society organizations, and social awareness.

Throughout the seminar, students learned detailed information about the contributions of volunteering to individual development, the working principles of civil society organizations, and responsibilities in the field of social services. Additionally, examples of LÖSEV's projects, support mechanisms, and awareness-raising activities were shared.

The event, which aimed to strengthen students' social responsibility awareness and raise awareness of civil society activities, ended with thank-you speeches after students' questions were answered.
