A Talk on "Women in the Logistics Sector" Was Held at Mersin University's School of Social Sciences (SBMYO)

A talk on "Women in the Logistics Sector" was organized in collaboration with the Logistics Program, Marketing Program, Foreign Trade Program, Business Program, Career Center, and the Foreign Trade and Logistics Application and Research Center at Mersin University's School of Social Sciences (SBMYO).

The guest speakers at the event included Selma Çağlar, General Manager of Atako, and Ayla Harp, Chair of the TOBB Mersin Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board Executive Committee. The speakers shared their experiences with students about women's employment, career opportunities, and challenges in the logistics sector.

Gönül Gürdal, Atako's Human Resources Manager, also answered questions from students and provided information on employment conditions and career planning in the sector.

During the event, students had the opportunity to evaluate the role of women in business life, specifically in the logistics sector. The talk was productive in terms of increasing students' awareness of the sector and contributing to their career development.
