A CONFERENCE TITLED “NARKOGENÇLIK” WAS HOLDED AS PART OF OUR FACULTY'S CAREER DAYS EVENTS

On April 15, 2025, within the scope of Career Days organized by our Faculty, a conference titled “Narkogençlik” was held with the participation of Sevtap DEMİRAL, a police officer working in the staff of Mersin City Police Department Counter Narcotics Department, as a speaker. The conference was held in the Nevit Kodallı Conference Hall on the Yenişehir Campus and Faculty Dean, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Dean, Asst. Prof. Şerife Efsun ANTMEN, Faculty members, Faculty secretary Volkan DARÇIN, administrative personnel, and students attended the conference.

Police officer Sevtap DEMİRAL informed our students about the factors affecting addiction, the importance of the social environment in the development of addiction, and the processes experienced by addicted individuals.

The conference was very interesting for our students and was followed carefully. At the end of the conference, police officer Sevtap DEMİRAL answered the questions of our students. After a plaque was presented to Sevtap DEMİRAL by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, the conference ended with a group photo session.
