The Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center (PDRM) provided significant support to the "In-Service Training for Professionals Working at the Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center" event, organized by the Mersin University Women's Issues Application and Research Center and held under the coordination of the Mersin Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services. As part of the event, Lecturer Sena Karakuş conducted a training session on "Therapeutic Intervention in Trauma."

The presentation covered topics such as violence, its effects, trauma, neurobiological processes related to trauma, post-traumatic symptoms, and therapeutic intervention for trauma. The training aimed to increase participants' awareness of violence and trauma and strengthen their professional approaches.

Thanks to the contributions of PDRM, the event, coordinated by the Women's Issues Research Center, provided expert participants with a highly productive experience in terms of knowledge sharing and professional development.
