World Alzheimer's Day Event
WORLD ALZHEIMER'S DAY EVENT
The Social Responsibility and Projects Commission of our Faculty has organized an awareness event on 26th September 2024, “21st September World Alzheimer's Day”. The Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Deans of the Faculty Prof. Seyhan ŞAHAN FIRAT and Asist. Prof. Efsun ANTMEN, Faculty Secretary Volkan DARÇIN, academic members, and students of our Faculty attended the event. As part of the event, students from our Faculty opened a stall at Sayapark Shopping Centre and distributed brochures informing visitors about the diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease, risk factors, things to be prevented the disease and things to be considered during the care of Alzheimer's patients.
The event highlighted the Alzheimer disease and raised awareness on “21st September World Alzheimer's Disease Day”.
