A LECTURE ON "THE ROLE OF COOPERATIVES IN PHARMACY" HELD ON PHARMACY DAY
As part of the Pharmacy Day events organized by our Faculty May 14th, a lecture entitled "The Role of Cooperatives in Pharmacy" was held May 16th, 2024 at the Nevit Kodallı Conference Hall of our Yenişehir Campus. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Güney Pharmacy Cooperative Pharm. Tarkan BİR led the discussion on "The importance of cooperatives, the future of the pharmacy profession and cooperation with faculties".
The event was attended by our Faculty Dean Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Ş. Efsun ANTMEN, Faculty Secretary Volkan DARÇIN, faculty members, and board members of Güney Ecza Cooperative.
Pharm. Tarkan BİR covered topics such as the history of cooperatives, the importance of solidarity among pharmacists in the cooperative model, the involvement of many pharmacy graduates from Mersin University in the Güney Ecza Cooperative, and the ongoing collaboration with faculties. After the lecture, our students had the opportunity to ask Pharm. Tarkan BİR questions about cooperatives. The event ended with a group photo.
