APPRECIATION DINNER FOR OUR FACULTY SECRETARY, AYFER VARLI

An appreciation dinner was held on February 21 ^th, 2024, for Ms. Ayfer VARLI, who served as the Faculty Secretary from 2008 to 2024, in recognition of her valuable contributions and efforts to our faculty over many years. The dinner was attended by our Dean, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, our Vice Deans of our FAculty, Prof. Seyhan ŞAHAN FIRAT, and Asst. Prof. Ş. Efsun ANTMEN, our current Faculty Secretary, Volkan DARÇIN, as well as our faculty members and administrative staff. In her speech, our Dean, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, stated, “Being a faculty secretary is a very serious and patience-demanding job, and for 12 years, Ms. Ayfer VARLI, with her education, personality, politeness, elegance, and diligence, has provided us with invaluable service. I thank her and wish her a wonderful and healthy retirement.” Following this, Ms. Ayfer VARLI expressed her gratitude, saying, 'I would like to thank all my professors and colleagues. The Faculty of Pharmacy holds a special place in my 34-year career. Our relationship has evolved into something very unique over time; our friendship is enduring, and you will always be special to me.' After the speeches, our Dean presented Ms. Ayfer VARLI with a gift as a token of appreciation from the faculty. The dinner continued with pleasant conversations among the attending faculty members and administrative staff.
