AS THE PART OF OUR FACULTY'S CAREER DAYS EVENTS, A CONFERENCE TITLED 'CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS IN SPORTS PHARMACY,' FEATURING MSC. PHARM. SOMER HELVACI AS THE SPEAKER, WAS HELD.
On Tuesday, December 19 th, 2023, the conference titled 'Current Developments in Sports Pharmacy,' with Msc. Pharm. Somer HELVACI as the speaker, was conducted as part of the Career Days events organized by our faculty.
The event, held in the Nevit Kodallı Conference Hall at our university's Yenişehir Campus, was attended by our Dean, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN, Vice Deans of our Faculty Prof. Seyhan ŞAHAN FIRAT and Asst. Prof. Şerife Efsun ANTMEN, as well as faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
After a moment of silence and the national anthem, the event began with a brief introduction of Msc. Pharm. Somer HELVACI’s background. Msc. Pharm. Somer HELVACI shared his ongoing work and recent developments with our students through his presentation. In his presentation, Msc. Pharm. Somer HELVACI stated, 'Sports pharmacy is an emerging and notable field that has gained attention in recent years and is closely followed within the pharmacy community. The primary goal is to define pharmacists' responsibilities and effective roles in athlete health. These efforts become even more valuable and meaningful as they progress in collaboration with other health professionals.'
