The project titled "Investigation of the Use and Effectiveness of Industrial and Agricultural Waste Materials in Metal Matrix Composite Brake Pad Material Production," submitted under TÜBİTAK 2218 program under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker SUGÖZÜ, a faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been awarded funding by TÜBİTAK.

Within the scope of the project, in order to encourage students enrolled in a program granting bachelor's, thesis-based master's, or doctoral degrees at universities in the provinces of Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, KahramanmaraÅŸ, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, and Şanlıurfa affected by the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023, or researchers who reside in these provinces and have obtained a doctoral degree, to engage in research and development activities, scholarship recipients will be supported through the TÃœBÄ°TAK BİÇABA â€" Working Together, Succeeding Together Scholarship Program 2023/1 call.
