Is it mandatory to do an internship?
Yes, doing an internship is compulsory for all our second year students.
Where can I do an internship?
You can do an internship in any public or private institution suitable for the department/program you are studying.
When can I do an internship?
You can do your internship on 6 different dates determined by our school. Application and internship start dates are listed in the table below.

How can I apply for an Internship?
After filling out the Internship Application form completely; You can deliver it to Mersin Vocational School (Distance Education) Yenişehir Campus Akkent Mahallesi Yenişehir/MERSİN Address in person or by mail / courier.
What should I pay attention to when filling out the Internship Application Form?
The application form must contain the stamp signature of the place where you will do your internship and the signature of the instructor staff. Incomplete forms are not processed.
How many days of internship?
Internship is provided for 30 working days. Public holidays and weekends are not considered internship days.
How to find out if your Internship Application has been accepted?
After the application is made, information will be sent to your e-mail address registered in the system whether your internship has been accepted or not.

Will I be insured during the internship period?
During your internship, the school provides work accident and occupational disease insurance.
What path should I follow at the end of the Internship?
Immediately after your internship ends, you must fill out your internship documents and send them to the school as a file. After this process is completed, the decision taken at the first internship board meeting will be entered into the system.
Can I benefit from Internship Exemption?
To benefit from Internship Exemption; There is a requirement to work with insurance for at least 1 (one) year in a job that is the same as the department you are studying.
What should I pay attention to in the exemption form?
Your exemption form must have a photograph, work area and work sections, and signatures must be complete. Additionally, the "Insurance Statement" must be added to the form to prove that you are insured.
How can I get an internship obligation letter?
When requested with a petition, it will be delivered to you by e-mail.
