Gender and Women's Studies Graduate Program

Established in 2010 and accepting students for the first time in the 2011-2012 academic year, the Women's Studies Master's Program with Thesis aims to train qualified academics and researchers who produce, interpret, and contribute to knowledge through an interdisciplinary approach (sociology, psychology, philosophy, art, etc.).

  • Admission to the program requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a valid ALES score, and success in the departmental interview.
  • Graduation requirements consist of successfully completing at least 21 credits (60 ECTS) of coursework and a seminar course, as well as a successful thesis (60 ECTS) defended before a jury.
  • Graduates who successfully complete the program receive the title of “Science Specialist.” Graduates can be employed in local government units such as municipalities, non-governmental organizations, or universities.
  • They can also transfer to doctoral programs by meeting the ALES, language proficiency, and interview requirements.
