The main purpose of this module is to create awareness about intellectual property rights of academicians, industrialists and students.

In this direction tasks of this module can be listed as follow; 

• Increasing awareness of Intellectual and Industrial property rights, patents / utility models, trademarks, geographical indications and industrial design issues, informing students, researchers and industrialists about the domestic and foreign registration transactions and costs in these matters

• Making studies about the potential of the patent / utility model of the undergraduate or graduate theses, research articles or projects completed in the university

• Guidance in patent / utility model application and registration processes
