A seminar for students of Mersin University’s Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching was held in collaboration with Coordinator and eTwinning Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Ümit İzgi Onbaşılı, Mersin YEĞİTEK Project Coordinator Bircan Keleş, and Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Elif Nilay Ada.

The event, attended by approximately 100 teacher candidates, also welcomed the Department Head Prof. Dr. Zekai Pehlevan. The seminar provided detailed information on the eTwinning Initial Teacher Education process, the European School Education Platform (ESEP), national and international project opportunities, as well as guidance on finding partners and developing projects.

Additionally, the academic, professional, and intercultural benefits of Erasmus projects integrated with eTwinning were discussed, along with the potential contributions these initiatives can bring to the faculty and university. Possible international collaborations and education opportunities at the European level were also highlighted.
