A Conference On Safe Internet Use And Combating Cyberbullying Was Held At Our Vocational School
Hosted by our Vocational School, in collaboration with the Young Yeşilay Community and the Mersin Provincial Police Department's Cybercrime Division, the ‘Safe Internet Use and Combating Cyberbullying’ Conference was held on 12 December 2025 at the Health Services Vocational School Conference Hall.
The conference provided comprehensive information on safe internet usage, risks encountered in the digital environment, types of cyberbullying, and ways to protect oneself. In a presentation by a police officer from the Mersin Provincial Police Department's Cybercrime Division, the importance of young people acting as conscious, safe, and responsible individuals in the digital world was emphasised.
At the end of the event, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the police officer speaker by Academic Advisor of the Young Yeşilay Community, Lecturer Dr Betül Sarı, for his valuable contributions to the conference.
The School of Health Services Vocational High School stated that it would continue to organise such events in collaboration with other institutions with the aim of increasing students' digital awareness, raising their awareness about safe internet use, and supporting preventive measures against cyberbullying.
