Medek Accreditation Training Held At Mersin University Vocational School Of Health Services

As Mersin University Vocational School of Health Services, we hosted an important training event within the scope of our ongoing efforts to continuously improve the quality of education and to advance our accreditation processes.

On 3 December 2025 at 10:00, a highly attended training program titled “Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (MEDEK) Accreditation Application Training” was organized for our academic staff. The training was delivered by our esteemed colleagues from Erdemli Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Can SAMIRKAŞ, Lecturer Nihal YILMAZ, and Lecturer Çağlar ATAK KOŞAN.

During the training, the 9 main criteria that constitute the core of the MEDEK accreditation process were discussed in detail. In addition, important information was shared on the identification of MEDEK program outcomes and how the knowledge, skills, and competencies components can be addressed through compulsory courses. The session also focused on the examination of program-specific outcomes and the conduct of related studies, the thorough preparation of course archive files, the updating of the Bologna Information Package, and key points to be considered while carrying out curriculum development efforts.

This productive training, held with the strong participation of our academic staff, has made a significant contribution to our School’s preparation efforts for accreditation processes. We extend our gratitude to our esteemed colleagues who delivered the training and to all members of our academic staff who participated.
