Amacı Students will have knowledge about features and rules about using Turkish better; have an ability to use language better seeing misusages and errors in language; gain a success of using and applying written and spoken expression types correctly; perceive knowledge of speaking effectively and accurately and get ability to apply this knowledge.
İçeriği Word and its meaning, words according to their meanings, different meanings of words, idioms, repetitions, terms. Language errors (about structure and meaning of a word). Ambiguities. Written expression types: [Narratives (novels, stories…), Opinion texts (articles, essays…), Poetry]

1 Identify misusages and ambiguities in the language and define the importance of using language accurately.
2 Define plans and rules required for written expression.
3 Acquire knowledge about how texts are constructed and be able to make text studies using these techniques.
4 Explain main concepts about phraseology and constructing ideas, and apply them on texts.
5 Define techniques of summarizing and note-taking.
6 Define types, functions, places, aims and usages of written expression.
9 Define and apply effective speaking and body language.
10 Define types, functions, usages of spoken language and participate in practices.
