Amacı The aim of this course is to provide the students with an ability of calculating mean and standard deviation for discrete and continuous variables, to interpret values that obtained by descriptive statistics, to interpret population parameter by using sampling data, to assure investigating, analyzing and interpreting relationship between variables.
İçeriği In this course; Discrete and Continous Distributions, Sampling Distributions, Point and Interval Estimation, Hypothesis Tests, Regression Analysis, Correlation are the topics that are covered.

1 Define discrete distributions and can apply them to daily life problems
2 Explain continuous distributions and can apply them to daily life problems.
3 Use point estimation and interval estimation.
4 List stages of hypothesis test and do hypothesis test. Be able to explain I type and II type error.
5 Practice simple linear regression analysis and calculate regression coefficient.
6 Test significance of regression coefficient.
7 Calculate and interpret coefficient of determination.
8 Calculate and interpret correlation coefficient.
