Amacı Define plate movements on crust and properties of large scale structures developed by these movements and explain geological events more reliably.
İçeriği Litosphere, astenosphere, crust, mantle, geological properties of plate boundaries, divergen, convergen and transform faulted plate boundaries, continental collision and orogenic belts, intra-plate tectonic regimes.

2 Define the crustal movements and the sources of stress which creates the movements.
3 Define convergen tectonic regimes and divergen tectonic regimes, middle oceanic ridges, continental rifts, allocogens.
4 Define strike-slip tectonic regimes, transpression, transtension concepts and transform faults.
5 Define continental collision and intra-plate tectonic regimes.
6 Interpret the plate movements on the crust and large scale structures developed by these movements.
7 Explain evolution of basins and their geotectonic locations.
8 Explain the large scale tectonic events which are important in Turkey’s tectonic evolution and their recent effects.
