1 Define the basic concepts and principles, which are required for economic analysis.
2 Define and interpret the demand and supply functions and the determinants of them.
3 Demonstrate the main effects of the changes in the demand and supply curves in order to analyse the market equilibrium
4 Analyse the concept of elasticity, its measurement and economic effects
5 Make analyses by using the approaches of marginal utility approach and indifference curves in order to demonstrate how the consumer equilibrium is achieved.
6 Analyse the concepts of marginal, average and total cost and the relations among them for achieving the firm equilibrium
7 Interpret the differences between perfect competition and monopoly for classifying the markets.
8 Define the monopolistic competition market and oligopoly market.
