Erasmus+ Program aims at providing more effective means of stimulating cooperation among different sectors, in line with the new needs of Europe 2020 Strategy Targets in education, youth and sports. 2.      Erasmus+ European Solidarity Corps

 This program allows you to have a chance for taking part in a social project in an EU country for periods of 2-12 months. The European Solidarity Corps, which also includes basic language training, is open for the application of young people between the ages of 18-30. The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) also provides opportunities for volunteering, solidarity and networking activities in beneficial projects.

3.      Farabi Exchange Program

 

It is an Exchange Program for the students and teaching staff between the Higher Education Institutions of Universities and High Technology Establishments, for teaching, in Turkey.

4.      Mevlana Exchange Program

It is a program aiming at enabling student and teaching staff exchange between domestic Higher Education Institutions and the ones abroad.

5.      Project Unit

Mersin University, alongside developing national and international projects and research works, with the cooperation of other institutions – we support projects of our university – through their project idea formation, project writing and project execution. Briefly, the scope of the unit is as follows:

 

·        to inform and make representation towards the Project Calls

·        to assist the academicians for their project preparations

·        to provide all academic units the information and coordination that they need

·        to organize project writing trainings

·        to cooperate and support potential stakeholders

·        to assist in legal following processes stemming from project management, project partners and project activities

·        to submit the information regarding the projects prepared and applied by our University, on a database

·        to improve the local cooperations between institutions, establishments and NGOs in our city and it also covers organising meetings aiming shared projects etc.
