With the decision of our University Senate dated July 16, 2024, the Guidelines for the Support Unit Against Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault were approved, and the Support Unit Against Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault (CTS) was established.

The CTS Unit aims to raise awareness about sexual harassment and sexual assault within the university, provide support to victims, and establish the necessary mechanisms to prevent such situations. It acts with the mission of providing a safe environment for every member of our university and aims to make the campus a more equitable and safer place.

CTS UNIT OBJECTIVES

• Awareness Raising: Raising awareness about sexual harassment and assault within the university community.
• Providing Support: Facilitating the process for victims by offering psychological, legal, and social support.
• Prevention and Intervention: Conducting education and awareness campaigns to prevent sexual harassment and assault incidents, and responding quickly and effectively to incidents that occur.
• Creating a Safe Environment: Contributing to the establishment of a safe, respectful, and equitable environment within the university.
